Clayton's Lesson along with the Roane County Anti-Drug Coalition has been privileged to participated in many local events pertaining to drug awareness.

A few of these events include:

  • Health Fair for ORAU employees
  • Roane State Community College Freshman Experience
  • Roane State Community College Drug Forum
  • Roane State Community College Red Ribbon Week
  • Sending local High School students for East Tennessee Teen Institute
  • Creating a quarterly newsletter addressing issues pertaining to substance abuse
  • Bringing MENACE to local Middle and High School students
  • Developing two Anti-Drug websites
  • Recovery Fair sponsored by Helen Ross McNabb
  • Starting C.A.M.P. Children's Attitude Motivation Program in Roane County 
  • Developing P-3 Clubs (Positive Peer Pressure) in local Middle and High Schools
  • Appearing on local news stations in order to raise awareness on substance abuse
  • Numerous public speaking events
  • Organizing Annual "Say No To Drugs" Balloon Release
  • Working with the Multijurisdictional Counterdrug Task Force to produce NOT What the Doctor ORDERED www.MCTFT.com
  • Assisting Anderson County Anti-Drug Coalition (ASAP) in the forming of their Coalition

Clayton’s Lesson prays that we will continue to be successful in helping to spare other families from the pain that we suffer each day due the loss of a child due to substance abuse. Please keep us in your prayers and feel free to let us know if there is anything we can do to help you in anyway!
