Roane County Anti-Drug Coalition has purchased a golf cart in which we use to raise awareness on the effects of driving while intoxicated. While wearing Fatal Vision Goggles, which impair vision similar to the effects of alcohol, the students try to drive the cart through an obstacle course that's set up by local law enforcement. A police officer accompanies the students while they are driving to insure their safety. The officers also give the students Field Sobriety Tests while wearing the goggles. This has been an eye opening experience to the students on the effects of driving while under the influence.
